Antique Wooden Velocipede With Original Red Paint
Q: Here are pictures of a trike we found in our attic. The house was built in 1930, and we have been trying to find out some info it. hope you can help, there is no welding on the wheels, I did read the things to look for if its a repro.
A: Your tricycle could have been made anytime in the late 1800′s. It could be as early as the 1970′s or thereabouts. We don’t know who made it, and it is unlikely that you’ll ever know for sure. This is a very early tricycle and it’s in superb condition and quite amazing that it still has that much original paint and stenciling.
