COMPANY HISTORY:

J.E. Donalson Manufacturing Company was only in business from 1944 until 1948 according to local newspapers in the area, but there is mention of the company making pedal cars in the late 1950s on the internet.  Their most notable product was the Donalson Jockey Cycle, a tricycle that was ridden like a horse rather than pedaled.  The company also made bicycles and other tricycles and made some airplane parts for the US Military during World War II.
