COMPANY HISTORY:

Carl Hedstrom started his company in 1915 and originally produced bicycles. Hedstrom is still in business but may no longer be producing tricycles. In the 1980's Hedstrom had a bit of a resurgence in the tricycle industry when they started producing licensed character tricycles like Strawberry Shortcake tricycles, as well as trikes that featured Care Bears and Bugs Bunny.

Hedstrom tricycle, probably circa 1920's. Hedstrom seems to have used this design for decades in addition to other models.	The Minute Man streamlined modern tricycle is probably the rarest, most valuable and most desired Hedstrom tricycle.	Hedstrom Saf-Jet tricycle seen here with a Dallas Cowboys logo seat.
