| Tricycle wheel with steel rim, welded spokes and rubber tire. These type of wheels were used for quite a good number of years by different companies around the mid-1900s. Similar wheels and tires were used on some tricycles back into the 1920's and some manufacturers used similar sets up into the 1960's.
Tire is part of a lot of unused old stock parts and has never been used. Tire has no wear to tread, but will need to be cleaned up a bit from years of gathering dust. The paint wear and light surface rust shown are a result of being stored and bounced about against other wheels.
Tire has a spiral twist tread pattern. No damage, some paint wear as shown. There may be a very thin gap at the joint in the tire. Total width of tire is 6 3/8 inches (6 inch rim). 3/8 inch axle spindle hole. Limited quantities in stock, wheels will have more surface rust than pictured, as we're reaching the last of the original stock, once they are gone, we have no more. |
